Much of our custom installation work is multi room speaker systems. A typical custom installation might be a simple multi room audio system, multi room speakers discretely installed in the ceiling, and multi room amplifiers hidden away in cupboards or in central multi room racks. To play a song all you need to do is pickup a wireless multi room controller or walk over to your multi room touchpad installed neatly into the wall. Select your playlist or radio station or play a song directly from Napster in any "multi room" in the house all at the touch of a button!
More advanced multi room systems will bring in not just multi room speakers and music but also multi room high-defintion video. As well as speakers that are all connected together somehow, your televisions are also all connected to a central multi room controller. This is a high-definition multi room link that lets you watch Sky HD, or a DVD or Blu-Ray disc, or play a computer game on any of the TVs in the multi room system. You can be watching Sky TV in the Living Room, press pause, turn of the TV and head up to bed where at the touch of a button the same Sky TV show is now showing in the bedroom. Press play and finish watching!
