Liam McLaughlin - Director
Liam initially trained in IT and Management Consultancy, gaining a 2.1 Honours Degree in Management Science and Computer Science (BSc) at the University of Kent / Kent Business School. Having a passion for movies and music, and having worked in a Cinema while at University, made a move into the AV industry in 2001 an obvious choice. His IT consultancy background and programming experience enhance Progressive AV's position at the forefront of modern home technology and automation systems. Liam is involved in all aspects of the company but particularly focusses on custom installation projects and technical sales and support.
Anthony McLaughlin - Director
Managing Director of Progressive Developers Ltd, founded in 2004 alongside Progressive AV and working together on smart home projects, with Progressive AV often consulting to Progressive Developers' clients. Progressive Developers operate as a separate entity to Progressive AV, but provide the design and build service for any custom room builds and bespoke joinery and furniture.
Anton McLaughlin - Sales and Support
Anton joined the company in 2008 with our move to new offices and a demo room in Speldhurst Business Park. He is responsible for day-to-day running of sales from our e-commerce websites and telephone callers. Anton is your main point of contact in the office dealing with sales enquiries, logistics, accounts and keeping all the rest of us organised! H
Shane "The Strings" Barden - Head Technician
Shane entered the world of AV from an electrical background and boasts over 10 years experience working on AV projects of all shapes and sizes. He is a CEDIA qualified installer and designer and is experienced in programming Crestron, Pronto, Nuvo control systems. Equally at home on building sites and retrofit installations, Shane brings a high quality of finish very rarely seen in our industry. Shame about his guitar playing though
