TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE STORE

Payment

All our prices are in Great British Pounds (£) Sterling. They include VAT at the current rate (20%) and we do not charge additional shipping charges for UK mainland orders. Payment can be made via credit or debit card over the telephone or using our secure online ordering system. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD and MAESTRO. Please feel free to contact us should you wish to pay with a cheque or bank transfer and/or if you would like to arrange a shipment outside of the UK.

All credit/debit card orders are subject to address and security code validation checks by the card issuer. If payment for any reason is refused or unauthorised by the card issuer we cannot be liable for any resulting delays to your order. We must insist for fraud reasons that all orders are delivered only to the cardholders address. You are however more than welcome to arrange to make a collection from our office, but please bear in mind we need to arrange to have your order shipped to our office for you to collect!

Delivery

We strive to ship your order out right away, but obviously cannot be expected to stock every variation of every product we offer for sale. Stock items are shipped out right away often with our main carrier UPS. You will be emailed with your tracking reference before we ship the goods, which you can track online at www.ups.com. We will contact you if the product you have ordered will need to be custom ordered (e.g. specific finishes).

Delivery costs to Northern Ireland, offshore islands, Scottish Highlands, Europe and the rest of the world will be agreed with you before we make any charges onto your credit or debit card. For orders to go outside of the UK we cannot accept credit/debit card or cheque.

If you require a timed (pre-12, pre-10.30) or a saturday delivery please contact us for a quote.

Should the cardholder not be available when delivery takes place to the address specified on the order and is signed for by another party we will not be held responsible once delivery has taken place. It is the card holder’s responsibility to be at the delivery address specified to receive the goods.

Damaged Goods

All our items are insured as standard, however carriers have a very strict notification time limit for claims. Should your delivery arrive damaged please contact us ASAP and if possible sign for the consignment as unchecked or damaged. We will need to put a claim in often within 48 hours of delivery.

In the case of replacing an item which has arrived damaged we will arrange collection of the faulty goods and delivery of a brand new replacement at our cost. Alternatively we can offer you a full refund including our outward shipping costs.

Returns
You have the right to withdraw from your contract with us any time up to seven days from the point of delivery of that item. Providing the goods are in "as new" condition with the original packaging and all accessories intact, you may ship the goods back to us at your cost and we will refund you the full amount of the order including any shipping charges. This simple right is applicable to all standard products on our website, however special order and specially customised items are excluded. This includes (but is not limited to) custom length cables, furniture with selected finishes, custom size projection screens, bespoke media servers and the like. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns of headsets/headphones that have been removed from their packaging. Please contact us on sales@progressive-av.com to raise a return.

We additionally offer our own 30 day guarantee should you decide that you wish to return the goods after the seven day period. Again we ask that you contact us on sales@progressive-av.com in order to raise a return and that you ship the goods back to us at your own cost, or that we arrange a collection for you and charge for the service. We will offer a full refund, less our initial carriage costs for sending out the item, should you be returning a still sealed and brand-new package. Should you have opened and used the item, but are able to return it to us in the original packaging with the full accessories then we will charge a 20% restocking fee for the return in addition to our initial carriage costs.

Pricing

If a product is listed at a wrong price because of a human error, we have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed prior to a contract being made.

If you see an item advertised cheaper elsewhere please email us or call us on 01892 860801 and we will do our best to beat that price!

Description of Goods

All products sold are of a technical nature and we are sometimes unable to give full specifications of all products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications in our advertisements, relayed by telephone and on the Internet are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description. Full details of specifications are available from manufacturer’s brochures or their websites.

Please note that any Special Order Item will not be accepted for refund unless faulty, as the item will be ordered especially for you and subsequently cannot be resold. Terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Availability of Goods

All goods and services are subject to availability and we reserve the right to withdraw at any time. If we do not or can not supply the goods for any reason, we can not be held responsible for any other losses you may suffer.
