The installers weapon of choice when it comes to combatting the dreaded lip sync audio delay...

Felston DD740 - dual source Digital Audio Delay

Lip sync error has become a significant and frustrating problem in recent years. If you use an A/V amplifier then the Felston DD740 is the answer. Modern displays such as plasmas, LCD screens and digital projectors are a major cause. Their sophisticated processing produces superb picture quality but is often at the expense of displaying the image a few frames after the audio - known as lip sync or AV sync error.

What makes matters worse is that lip sync error can also vary between DVDs, television channels and programs, meaning instant, easy adjustment is what is needed to keep lip-sync error at bay. The DD740 gives you just this, adding lip sync correction to your A/V system. It works with any digital audio source (DVD players, many digiboxes/ satellite/cable receivers, etc.) The diminutive DD740 corrects lip sync error by delaying the audio whatever amount you need, with instant adjustment whenever you need it via the remote control.

Felston DD740 Digital Audio Delay Features:

Felston have ensured that they explored the full potential of using a dedicated digital audio delay device, and have come up with the following features to ensure it will fit into even the strangest of configurations!

- 6 preset configurations per input. These are directly accessable via the supplied remote or using Philips Pronto Remote Control codes to be used within macros (please Contact Us for Philips Pronto codes). Save individual settings for your most popular 6 channels perhaps, or using a digital video switcher in-line use the presets for however many sources are connected through the box!

- Philips Pronto (and soon other programmable remote control) codes for discrete power, source, and preset memory loading.

- remote control "on-the-fly" delay control, to adjust delay just temporarily for a particularly bad piece of material

- dual inputs can be configured to either pass through as dual outputs (DD540 acts as "invisible" device), or for both inputs to be output from a both connectors simultaneously thus not needing to change sources on your amp (DD540 acts as a "switcher") and solving an issue of an amp with only one type of digital input (optical or coaxial)

- on power on or switching of input the unit automatically remembers the previous delay setting

- maintains complete integrity of the original digital signal
