The Lumagen VisionDVI is an entry-level solution adjusted to the needs of smaller homecinema systems in its performance range and offers excellent video processing at an affordable price. The Lumagen VisionDVI shares the same connections as the Lumagen VisionHDP but with a slightly limited processing ability. It is otherwise the basis for the rest of the range and is our highest performing processor under £1000.

Update: in a surprise firmware update Lumagen have been able to include a full 1080i per-pixel deinterlacing algorithm into the Lumagen VisionDVI! This raises the performance bar quite significantly as no other processor even close to this price offers this kind of HDTV performance. The HD range (Vision HDP, Vision HDQ, VisionProHDP) gain this and 1080i film mode detection for perfect translation back to 1080p!
