THX® Ultra 2 Monobloc Power Amplifier. 1 x 400W
John Curl and CTC Builders collaborated in the development of this monaural amplifier to create a new benchmark standard for design elegance, sonic precision and value.
Regarded by many as one the finest amplifiers ever conceived, the JC1 offers power and poise in equal measure. The JC1 provides 400 watts into 8 ohms, rising to an incredible 1250 watts into 2 ohm loads. A peak current delivery of 135 amps enables the JC1 to control and drive any speaker irrespective of its demands.
Operating in pure Class-A mode up to 25 Watts, the JC1 has user selectable bias settings that enable it to run at 10 watts pure Class-A where heat dissipation is a consideration.
Advanced circuitry, exemplary parts selection, sound quality unequalled in its class, stunning design and value make this amplifier a bona fide classic of the genre.
