Audio and Video Calibration

In any installation we will accurately set speaker distances and levels, crossover points and other adjustments. A Home Acoustics Alliance (HHA) consultancy will first make recommendations for any changes to the room that might better the acoustics, this includes the installation of acoustic treatment for example (so more for the dedicated room than the lounge!!) and precise adjustment of your audio system using sophisticated calibration equipment for perfect room response in a wider sweetspot.

On the video front our installations will include a eye-calibration to set grayscales and colour on your display. This is needed as displays are very, very rarely setup for optimum performance "out of the box", and each and every different configuration yields wildly different optimal settings. However we do also offer a full calibration service as certified by the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF). This calibration will both ensure all the settings in your entire video chain are optimal to gain the best possible feed, and will then use advanced measuring equipment to set individual red, green and blue levels, cyan, magenta and yellow levels, and precise grayscales (contrast and brightness). If you have a Lumagen video processor this includes an 11-point gamma calibration for an image that looks so real you would swear you were looking out of a window to the real world!
