Consultation

How well your custom installation proves to be is greatly influenced by the initial consultation stage and ongoing management of the project. After gauging an initial idea of your needs over the telephone, a site-visit is arranged where the designer can survey the area and discuss requirements. Before we even begin to discuss projectors, speakers, plasma screens, we carry out a simple requirements analysis.

Our requirements analysis follows a conceptual design theme. We break down the system into a series of concepts assigning priority levels for outright quality, aesthetics, budget and user-friendliness. We can then discuss possible design implementations and put together a proposal. The proposal is submitted with usually one or two options for consideration, and any other points raised that may not have come up during the visit.

Finally we can then push this information on to our own team, or alternatively carry out project management in co-operation with your own developers. Obviously our advice is to let us take care of it. Not just because our AV installers are specifically experienced with our products and how best these should be cabled/terminated/programmed, but our whole team of builders, joiners, cabinet-makers, security specialists etc are all experienced in working alongside each other in creating whole-home entertainment solutions (and keeping to deadlines....).
