Expected late November is the new fmj universal disc player the DV139. The first fmj product to support SACD as well as DVD-A and CD audio technologies and the first DVD player in the world to include Anchor Bay Technologies video processing for both deinterlacing and upscaling (to 1080p resolution!).

Some of the most cutting edge DVD technology in the world has been utilised in the DV139. It's core processor, the Zoran Vaddis 888, is designed to obtain the very best quality from all the popular disc types including DVD-Video, DVD-Audio and SACD. Its internal video processors are from Anchor Bay Technology. For deinterlacing the DV139 employs the ABT102 processor with class leading bad edit detection and "any format" cadence detection. For remarkable video scaling the ABT1010 is used. This IC is revered as one of the top scaling engines available and offers output at up to 1080p resolution.

To ensure an equally breathtaking audio performance, Wolfson audio DACs provide accurate digital to analogue conversion 24-bit 192kHz, whilst ultra low jitter clocking ensures a solid and accurate soundfield. Twin toroidal mains transformers mean delicate audio signals enjoy a compltely separate power supply from their digital and video counterparts. The tri-laminate Acousteel chassis mechanically seperates the electronic circuits from internal or airborne vibration.
