The D200 utilises a newly engineered universal transport capable of extracting the maximum amount of data from almost every disc and media format including: DVD, CD, DVD-A, SACD, DVD+/-R/RW, MP3, WMA, JPEG, Kodak Picture CDs, and DivX™.
It features one of the most sophisticated video processing suites available today, including a 216 MHz/12-bit precision video DAC. An on-board Faroudja DCDi processor provides exceptional progressive scan performance, while 10-bit video scaling for the HDMI digital video output enables a standard DVD to be output at 480i, 480p, 576p, 720p, or 1080i resolutions.
All video outputs are independent and fully buffered allowing the simultaneous output of HDMI, Component Video, S-Video, and Composite Video for the seamless integration of the D200 in both a home theatre and multi-room system.
Precision 24-bit/192kHz DACs ensure that CD playback is of the highest order, while pure analogue performance can be even further enhanced with the deactivation of the video and digital audio outputs.
Comprehensive bass management is available for DVD-A and SACD high resolution audio sources, with SACD DSD bitstreams being sent directly to the audio DACs, eliminating intermediate conversion.
Parasound has long understood the requirements of both end user and the custom installer. With seven simultaneously active video outputs, two-way RS232 control, discrete IR operation and external IR input/loop through, the D200 will form the heart of a superb audio visual system.
