Introducing the Fujitsu P42HTS40GS (P42HTS40) Plasmavision® Display - the sum total of over ten years of development since Fujitsu pioneered the worlds first colour plasma display in 1993. The P42HTS40GS represents the pinnacle of plasma quality thanks to Fujitsu and Faroudja's very latest video processing technology being combined to form the Advanced Video Movement II (AVM-II) digital video processor.
Connectivity is catered for all tastes too with this new Television version of the popular P42HHA40; High Definition (HD) services will enjoy a fully specified HDMI interface, external processor and PC users enjoy a separate DVI input. The media offers no less than 3 RGB Scarts and 2 SD/HD component inputs, each with stereo and optical digital audio inputs!! Optical digital output runs to your AV Amplifier for all digital audio connection, or use the plasma screens own speakers from connected sources or the screens internal TV Tuner.
To prove Fujitsu really believe they have cracked it with this new range, all Plasmavision "40 series" panels come complete with 3-year warranty (first two years on-site), which may also be extended through our own warranty service!

Note Regarding Fujitsu Plasma Screen Codes:
Currently, the 42" HHA and 50" XHA Fujitsu plasma screens available officially in the UK are an identical specification to the models available in the USA. Both models are denoted with a "US" suffix (e.g. P50XHA40US ), rather than the expected "ES" as the other European models in the range use. This is a reaction on Fujitsu's part to ensure the screens available in this country are compliant with the latest "HD Ready" specification and thus compatible with Sky TV's upcoming HDTV service. We have heard from some customers of "ES" labelled screens (e.g. P50XHA40ES ) being available in this country. These are of a different specification to the current official models - most immediately there is no digital connectivity which means these screens are not HD Ready and as such will not be compatible with the upcoming Sky HD service nor any future High Definition DVD formats. ES screens will also invariably be imported models so will not have a full (if any) Fujitsu endorsed warranty. We hope that Fujitsu will switch exclusively to a fully HD Ready ES product in the coming weeks/months to save confusion, however in the meantime the only HD Ready and fully warranted 42" and 50" screens available from Fujitsu are the P50XHA40US and P42HHA40US.
