With the rise and rise of the Internet as a sales medium, we in co-operation with the relevant manufacturers will insist on installation or buying of a product in person only. This is done to alleviate problems caused where "cowboy" e-tailers or "box-shifters" will sell a product at rock bottom price, but then neglect to supply an adequate level of after sales support. Or worse still, the product or combination of products is of such complexity (video processors for example) that we couldn't possibly offer the appropriate level of service if you are too far away for us to put in a personal visit, or for you to visit our offices. Unfortunately many will not realise the complexity of the product, and hence the importance of after-sales service, until they have already made the mistake!
If you have been offered a distance sale on a product that you believe you perhaps shouldn't have been, we highly recommend that you contact the manufacturer directly to ensure the legitmacy of the retailer. In some circumstances your warranty may very well be void if a product is not purchased through a recognised dealership.
