The model zero five is projectiondesign's commitment to designing a more affordable version of the model one, their top-of-the line home cinema DLP™ projector. Featuring many of the same components, it introduces the lower resolution, purpose-built Texas Instruments® Matterhorn DMD™ for outstanding performance from DVD, TV and video sources. With wide PAL resolution, 1024 x 576, the model zero five reproduces a sharp image free of artefacts.
The philosophy behind the model zero five is the same as that for our model one. Outstanding image dynamics with high contrast and brightness, neutral, yet saturated colours, and excellent detail reproduction from the deepest blacks to the whitest whites. The resultant picture is a suprisingly bright one, and can be set bright enough to watch during the daytime with minimal blackout! The cinematic feeling and quality can be recreated in your own home.
Image quality is the key design criteria for the model zero five. The non-magnetic magnesium alloy chassis provides a perfectly stable platform, not causing electrical interference and image degradation. Our high-resolution optical engine uses aspherical lenses to provide perfect focusing and uniformity. The highly acclaimed Faroudja® DCDi™ progressive scan engine processes incoming video signals to achieve the best possible image quality with any video input.
Gold plated printed circuit boards and connectors, individually regulated power supplies, and the highest quality components for all signal processing ensure dynamic images, surpassed only by our own award winning model one.
