Managed lighting can really be the difference between a good room and a great room! Our systems may sometimes look as simple as a more traditional set of push-button switches, but underneath the skin is where a lot of thought and planning has gone into creating "scenes" of preset, varying lighting levels which splash colour around the room illuminating highlights and cooling or warming areas of the room dynamically in a way that painting the walls simply cannot.

A lighting integration can be just a handful of circuits in a single room with a single touchpanel on the wall. Four presets give you pre-determined scenes, each one highlighting a different feature of the room using splashes of colour from the lighting system itself. This can be easily remote controlled using the handset or your own TV remote, or integrated into one of our larger systems.

Our larger systems would be installed as a major intelligent lighting system throughout the house (see also home automation). In addition to having mixed scenes and precise dimming in each of your rooms (and hallways, and outdoors) the system as a whole has a certain level of intelligence. Automated on/off on your hallway lights, garden paths at night, wine cellars etc all aid towards more manageable power consumption. As do timered lights, controlled table lamps etc. In terms of security systems such as the Lutron Homeworks will "learn" your lighting use and habits and replicate a similar pattern of lighting use when you are away from home on holidays.

Finally as part of a larger integrated system lighting control and be proactive or reactive to other systems in the house. For security a fire alarm link might activate emergency lighting, an intruder alarm might do the opposite!!
