Designed to complement the Image series speakers, the B1.36 is a compact and powerful active subwoofer, capable of enhancing the performance of virtually any speaker.
At the heart of the B1.36 is a 10" long-throw front-firing bass driver, a 200W Ace-Bass amplifier and a down-firing ‘AirFlow' bass reflex port.
Constructed in two parts, the cabinet of the B1.36 is mounted on an open stand, which positions the cabinet's reflex port at the optimum distance from the floor, giving maximum connection to the listening room. A “lens” affixed to the base aids the dispersion of low frequency information within the room.
The low-pass crossover of the B1.36 is infinitely variable between 50 and 100 Hz, which together with an independent volume control, makes integration and positioning a straightforward process.
Finished in the same high-gloss black lacquer as all Image series models the B1.36 will prove a powerful addition to any music or home theatre system.
