The 5050A is the ideal partner to the 6020A loudspeaker system, supplying a powerful and wide bandwidth 3-channel bass-managed subwoofer solution for both stereo and surround sound applications. Stereo pre-outs are connected to the 505a Subwoofer and then passed-thru to the 6020a speakers. This runs via the subwoofer cross-over (set to 85Hz) to create a 2-channel full-range speaker system capable of achieving a phenomenal 105db at 1 metre.
The 5050A is equipped with one active magnetically shielded 8" driver mounted on the front side of a compact cabinet, and two 8" passive radiators, one on each side of the cabinet. The 6020a features a 4" main and 3/4" treble drive units, each with 20w power amplifiers in a biamplified configuration.

Front 3-channel pre-outs (left/centre/right) are connected to the 505a Subwoofer and then passed-thru to the 6020a speakers. This runs via the subwoofer cross-over (set to 85Hz) to create a 3-channel full-range front soundfield capable of achieving a phenomenal 105db at 1 metre.
The subwoofer then takes an additional LFE connection from the processor for dedicated LFE channel reproduction. Multiple subs are easily introduced using the Genelec Link function (master subwoofer and multiple slaves).
